Checking Faulty Vtec Solenoid
To inspect the spool valve do as pictured.
If you need a new gasket you have to get them for a 91 NSX if you have a 1st gen b16. The part numbers are:
Large gasket: #15825-PR3-005
Smaller Upper Gasket: #36172-PR3-005
