Removing your dashThese are instructions on how to remove the dash of your 88-91 Civic. Look at the diagram I got from Auto Zone for bolt loactions.Remove the center console, radio, heater controls, glovebox, and fuse cover. Then take the dash wires out of the fuse box and disconnect the ground wire to the right of the steering column. Then take the knob off the drivers air vent, pull out the plastic face, and unscrew the 2 screws that hold the vent control in. Unscrew the 3 main bolts located in the center of the top of the dash under the cover and on each side under the side window defroster panels. Take out the steering column bolts. Take the glove box out next by taking the dash mount bolts. Therer is one in the botto center and one on each side going into metal. Lift it off the firewall and out the door.
